WebI don't know if this is the first time I've experienced this pain since having shingles, but it's not the only odd symptom. About 2 months ago the same area was extremely itchy, I honestly thought the shingles was coming back. Nothing ever appeared, and it's the same this time. Despite the very familiar pain, no rash has reappeared. WebLooks very linear, from an allergic reaction of touching something. Itching is more in line with contact dermatitis. This is exactly how my current bout with shingles started— with a few itchy not painful bumps. Get yourself off to a doctor for an exam! I’m on an antiviral and tomorrow is my follow up appointment.
